Zuri had been collecting interviews with fishers, traders and families along Ghana's coast, but she lacked the equipment and time required to turn the recordings into a complete series. After finding a reporting grant through the Opportunity Hub, she developed a focused proposal and received support to continue the project. The funding allowed her to travel, commission local sound production and publish the first episodes.
